Art the Clown is the main antagonist of the Terrifier franchise, first appearing in the short film The 9th Circle which was itself featured in All Hallows Eve.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- Art is the most twisted and heinous character in the Terrifier franchise as he is a sadistic clown who delights in torturing and mutilating his victims to his heart's content.
- He showcases his intelligence by making weapons out of scraps.
- Art can act manipulative: when the doll lady from the first film tried appealing to his humanity, he leads the woman on only to heavily mutilate her.
- He caused Vicky to become homicidally insane and convinced she was in love with him, leaving her physichologically vulnerable to be possessed by The Little Pale Girl and used by the latter as a vessel.
- He is likely the most powerful character in the films. Prior to his resurrection, Art manages to cut a woman in half and chop off limbs. Upon being revived, Art demonstrates more instances of his superhuman strength.
- After the Miles County Massacre, Art's influence is still felt in the town. Jonathan, one of the lead protagonists of the sequel, even considers dressing up as Art for Halloween.
- Even though he gets decapitated by Sienna, Art is revived yet again and continues to ruin Sienna's life by killing her aunt, uncle and presumably Jonathan.
- His actions have Sienna's cousin Gabbie falling into what appears to be Hell, which will force Sienna to face Art and many other creatures to rescue her beloved cousin in the upcoming fourth film
