God Hand[]

In General[]

God Hand

The God Hand

The God Hand which consists of Void, Slan, Ubik, Conrad, and Femto are all extremely powerful deities who have significant control and influence over the Apostles and the Physical World. As a group, they also have the ability to manipulate causality and orchestrate events on the physical realm. Their actions have led to countless death and suffering for the people of Midland for a long time. Their actions include anywhere from creating a plague that killed thousands, to manipulating people into become bestial, barbaric, homicidal in orgies, manipulating trolls and other creatures into harming humans, and creating many Apostles that would harm and kill many people.

As a group, they are all culpable in making someone become an Apostle which would require them to sacrifice innocents to have their souls sent to hell eternally. Each member of the God Hand have all committed heinous acts in their pursuit of their evil goals.

While they are all very heinous and powerful, the Idea of Evil predates them and have a far reaching level of influence behind each God Hand member and the group as a whole.

Femto[]

Griffith stands out as one of the most personal enemies to Guts for his betrayal of the Band of Hawk. Griffith shown levels of egotism and psychopathy by how he view those under his band as simple pawns that he owns and seemingly not minding them dying for him to achieve his dreams of getting his kingdom. After he lost everything and became handicapped through the torture of inflicted upon him by the King of Midland and despairing, Griffith summoned the God Hand and had the Apostles slaughter all his subordinates in a bloodbath while emerging as the fifth angel of the God Hand called Femto. Out of spite and hate for Guts, Griffith raped Casca in front of Guts which ultimately destroyed her mind. Griffith manipulates causality to be reborn on the physical plane by possessing Casca's and Gut's child to resume his goal of getting his kingdom which succeeded when he was able to stop Emperor Ganishka and initiate the Great Roar of the Astral World which would combine the physical world with the astral world and unleashing numerous monsters into the world to kill multiple people. In spite of getting his kingdom, Falconia, Griffith masquerades as the messianic Hawk of Light to trick people into following and worshiping him while hiding his true form as the Hawk of Darkness known as Femto.

As noted by individuals such as the Skull Knight and others, the fifth angel, Femto, is noted to be exceptionally dangerous threat to the world and exceptionally cruel. As a member of the God Hand, he is one of the most powerful villains in the series with the ability to manipulate spacetime and lead and command an army of Apostles. Due to his actions and lack of remorse, on the personal level and the impact he had upon the world through initiating the Great Roar of the Astral World, Griffith is considered to be one of the most evil villains in the series.

In spite of the threat that he poses to the entire world, Griffith is noted to fail in comparison to the level of influence that Idea of Evil possess.

Void[]

Void

Void

Void stands out as the oldest member of the God Hand who is also the personal enemy of the Skull Knight. For a very long time, Void has been committing atrocities against people in service of his evil goals and agenda. Unlike the former members of the God Hand, Void remains as a leading figure within the group who provide support for the Invocation of Doom ceremonies which consists of people being sacrificed and their souls sent to hell in order to make someone an Apostle or a member of the God Hand. He also gives those who would be sacrificed in the ceremonies the Brand of Sacrifice. Much like Ubik and the other God Hand, Void also played a direct role in Griffith's ascension to the fifth angel of the God Hand as Femto. Since Femto's merging of the Physical and Astral realms, Void remains a major threat to the entire world.

Similarly to Griffith, Void lacks the level of influence that the Idea of Evil possess.

Emperor Ganishka[]

Emperor Ganishka

Emperor Ganishka

After sacrificing those he once loved to become an Apostle, Ganishka became a ruthless ruler of the Kushan Empire with the goals of conquest. Standing out as the most depraved ruler in the series, Ganishka would regularly have hundreds of people brutally killed during his conquest. In addition, he would also create an army of monsters by having pregnant women captured by large numbers and plunged into a dangerous substance that would corrupt the baby inside them to become demons that would kill their mothers through their births. Ganishka planned to go against the God Hand to achieve ultimate power and ended up going into war against Griffith where he casually killed numerous amount of his own men before ultimately being killed by Griffith.

Despite being an Apostle, Ganishka posed a threat to the entire world through his gigantic transformation which can kill multiple people at a time. He also had the goal of going against the God Hand while also leading his own army of men against Midland forces. Ganishka stands out as one of the evilest villains in the series for the acts he committed while also posing a major threat to the point that it took a strong part of Midland army to deal with Ganishka.

Despite his actions, Ganishka fails in comparison to having the amount of power that the God Hand possess as he was killed immediately by Femto.
