These types are almost completely evil but manage to have just one or a few redeeming qualities (e.g. Johan Liebert, All For One, Professor Gerald Robotnik (Sonic Cinematic Universe), Oh Il-nam, Sephiroth, The anime version of Light Yagami, Niles, Lord Shen, Bluey, Paula Miner), and/or possess other mitigating factors such as comedic, moral agency issues or insufficient characterization (e.g. Moon Lord, RED Engineer (Spy's Disguise), Big Brother, PAL, Bowser (The Super Mario Bros. Movie), Chester V).
