Chakravartin, also called The Creator and The Golden Spider, is the overarching antagonist of the action beat 'em up game Asura's Wrath.
In his true form, he was voiced by Hiroshi Ito in Japanese and Al Rodrigo in English. As the Golden Spider, he was voiced by the late Hiroshi Ōtake in Japanese and Joe Hanna in English.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is the most powerful and dangerous character as the creator of not just the Mantra but Gaea, a world he intends to destroy so he could recreate in his image. While not completely indestructible, he is very resilient in battle and can shrug off damage as evidenced by his fight with Asura.
- He is bar none the most irredeemable character as he is a Social Darwinist who believes in "might makes right" and to be above human morality with his motives driven by egotism and pure destruction with no regard for the lives of others. In addition, he is the true master behind the Gohma, who rampaged and massacred countless innocents for various years.
- He is the most influential villain as all the events of the game can be traced back to him: He was the creator of the Gohma and his actions eventually inspired the Seven Deities' plot against Asura and Mithra, then the former's quest for revenge after the latter was kidnapped.
- He is also very smart and manipulative, as he was capable of manipulating Asura in his Golden Spider form, prior to the reveal of his true identity.
