Chip Whistler is the main antagonist of the Disney Channel animated series Big City Greens. He was the former manager-turned-CEO of Wholesome Foods and the archenemy of the Green Family, particularly Cricket Green.
He was voiced by Paul Scheer.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- Chip is one of the most heinous characters in the show. First starting off as an arrogant, bumbling villain who gets outwitted by Cricket on numerous occasions, Chip graduates into true villainy when he buys out Big Coffee and firing Cricket and Gloria. He then forges signatures to further ruin the Green family's lives by banning them from the city. When he is thwarted again, Chip attempts to slice Cricket and his family with the blades of his helicopter uncaring that several civilians would also be caught in the carnage.
- He has moments of being deceptive: he feigns remorse for all the things he had done to the Greens to get them to sign his forgiveness contract. He also tricks Bill into believing that he was his friend.
- He is the most influential villain in the series whose actions impacted the characters in considerable ways. By buying out Big Coffee, this led to Gloria moving in with the Greens and later founding her own coffee shop. Due to killing any good will he had left with Big City, Chip became a reviled figure as evidenced by a groundskeeper opting to not wish him a "nighty-night" when Chip faked his death and went into hiding.
- Prior to being banished from Big City, Chip had access to a lot of resources due to becoming the CEO of Wholesome Foods.
