Dr. Weil is the main antagonist of the Mega Man Zero series and the arch-nemesis of Zero. Believing Reploids should have their free wills removed to prevent them from going Maverick, Weil is the one responsible for the Elf Wars, which destroyed much of the Earth and caused a mass genocide for both humans and Reploids. For his atrocities, Weil was exiled but returns in Mega Man Zero 3 to take revenge and become the new ruler of Neo Arcadia.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He alone, is the most evil and influential villain in Zero, due to his resources, power and responsible for many events in the series.
- He kickstarted the Elf Wars, killing 60% of humans and 90% of Reploids in the process.
- With the Sigma Virus, he cursed Mother Elf by putting the data of the virus in her, turning her into the Dark Elf.
- He wiped out anyone who opposed his regime by making the land outside of Neo Arcadia inhabitable.
- He used Zero's original body to create Omega, and used him to control the remaining Reploids in the world.
- In his endgame, he tried to destroy the entire Earth with Ragnarok.
- Even after his defeat in Mega Man Zero 4, his influence would continue in the Mega Man ZX series through Model W, formed by the remains of Ragnarok.
