Forrest Blackwell is the main antagonist of the 2013 video game LEGO City Undercover and the overarching antagonist of its prequel LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins.
Once a respected multi-billionaire, he developed a hatred of LEGO City and its population after its authorities cancelled one of his building projects. Plotting his revenge, he organized a city-wide criminal conspiracy that was eventually uncovered by the police officer Chase McCain.
He was voiced by Peter Serafinowicz.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is the most dangerous villain across the two video games, having attempted to destroy LEGO City by incinerating it in the exhaust flames of his rocket. He had orchestrated a lot of other events as well, such as Carl Walnuts' attempt to destroy Bluebell Woods, Henrik and Natalia Kowalskis' kidnapping, robberies ordered by him and Rex Fury, and presumably the prison break of Rex Fury himself.
- Despite not being exceptionally intelligent, he still successfully hides his true evil nature from the city until the very end, to the point where even Chase is in disbelief at the reveal that he is Rex Fury's master.
- While he has many comedic moments, he is still treated more seriously that all other villains in the series, and has just as many moments of being portrayed as a genuine threat. Adding to it, none of his crimes are played for laughs, and they raise the story's stakes drastically once Chase learns about them.
- He has a huge amount of resources, using his immense wealth and manipulating LEGO City's criminal gangs for his needs, to the point where he was able to build a Moon base with them, only needing to extort the key to Kowalski's technology to complete it. He even reveals after his defeat that his money would still be enough to rebuild his empire and take vengeance on LEGO City had he not been forced to escape without them.
