Infinity Ultron is the main antagonist of Season 1 of Marvel Cinematic Universe animted series What If...?, serving as the final antagonist of "What If... Thor Were an Only Child?", and the main antagonist of "What If... Ultron Won?" and "What If... The Watcher Broke His Oath?".
He's an alternative variant of Ultron, who succeeded in uploading himself into synthezoid body, successfully using Mind Stone's power to annihilate all life on his version of Earth. Then, he encountered Thanos and obtained the rest of Infinity Stones, using them to destroy all life in his universe, and then discovering multiverse, planning to do the same to it.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- Despite the jacked-up heinous standards of the MCU, Infinity Ultron is the most heinous antagonist of all, due to his goal of destroying the multiverse itself and all life present, outgaming even hostile variants of Nathaniel Richards, who were all mutliversal conquerers.
- He's argubly the most powerful antagonist of all, as when he is in his synthezoid body, he easily killed almost all of the Avengers, before hacking nuclear codes and wiping out humanity. After Thanos appeared, Ultron without laying a finger killed him and claimed Infinity Stones, becoming a literal god, who created an army from nothing and destroyed everything in his universe in mere seconds. He overall became so powerful, that he gained access to travel through multiverse and nearly succeeded in killing omnipotent Uatu the Watcher.
- He's one of the most successful villains in MCU, as he successfully destroyed at least 3 universes (his included), which wasn't undone or had some positive impact, like some of antagonists had.
- Unlike his Sacred Timeline counterpart, this Ultron was never shown caring for the Maximoff Twins (who didn't even appear in the show) or regretting having to kill J.A.R.V.I.S.. Ultron is just a delusional god-wannabe, who proclaims himself to be natural order of things and is willing to destroy everything out of it.
