Dr. Josef Heiter is the main antagonist of Tom Six's controversial 2009 horror movie, The Human Centipede (First Sequence).

He is a mentally ill/perverted ex-surgeon who plans on creating a horrific experimentation, he was voiced and performed by the late Dieter Laser.

Actions and Characteristics

• He is the most powerful/resourceful character in the whole film, due to having a handful of medical tools, plus. He uses said resources to make his infamous experimentation, and we have also seen that he used these prior to the film.
  • While Bill Boss is arguably much more powerful than Heiter, neither of the sequels are connected to the original, plus. Heiter is also the only villainous character in the entire movie.
• He is also arguably the most influential character in the entire movie as well, as he managed to trick Lindsay and Jenny into getting trapped in his horrific experimentation by having them drink spiked water, plus. He caused the deaths of Lindsay and Jenny because of said experimentation.
  • Plus, this also makes him rather manipulative (due to the already mentioned action of him tricking Lindsay and Jenny into getting trapped in said experimentation).
