XJ-0461 2 'Klunk' is a Ratchet & Clank character and the main antagonist of the video game Secret Agent Clank, taking place within the in-universe holovision series of the same name. He is Clank's evil doppelganger who arranged for the Eye of Infinity to be stolen and Ratchet framed for that in a scheme to become Solana Galaxy's "hero".
He was voiced by David Kaye, who also voiced Megatron in Beast Wars.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He kicked off all of the game's events by brainwashing Ratchet into stealing the Eye of Infinity and get caught in the act while the eye would eventually end up in Klunk's possession.
- He also sent B.A.R.N.E.Y. to act as Captain Qwark's biographist, predicting he would follow Clank, allowing him to further spy on his enemy.
- He utilized the disguises of Kingpin and Clank to conceal his identity and fool everyone until it would be too late to stop him, planning to ultimately kill Clank and impersonate him.
- He outdoes Maxmillian in influence, power and heinousness, as he was able to put up much more of a fight against Secret Agent Clank than any other enemy, and had he succeeded in his initial plan, multiple planets would be destroyed. Additionally, halfway through the final battle he broke his doomsday weapon's control so that if Clank defeated him, he'd be unable to deactivate it and the entire Solana Galaxy would be wiped out.
