NOTE: An Ultimate Evil hasn't been decided yet in the series as it is still being debated who is the Ultimate Evil in its Potential Candidates.

The Ultimate Evil of the MCU, so far.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is an ongoing media franchise distributed by Marvel Studios under the Walt Disney company beginning in 2008 with its first film Iron Man.

In a universe comprised of superhuman beings whether good or evil, none are as heinous and influential as Infinity Ultron from What If...?

Potential Candidates[]

Doctor Doom[]

Doctor Doom is going to be the new antagonist of the Multiverse Saga, replacing Kang.

Since he hasn't appeared yet, he cannot count as TUE for now.

Galactus[]

He serves as the main antagonist of the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot movie so it's unknown what his heinous crimes are.

Since Fantastic 4 hasn't come out yet, he also cannot be TUE for now.

Close Contenders[]

Cassandra Nova[]

Cassandra Nova was the main antagonist of Deadpool and Wolverine. She attempted to use the time ripper to destroy the entire multiverse so she can reign as a tyrant over the Void. She also has a little bit of personal villainy to Wolverine.

However, while very heinous, Infinity Ultron is the one who wants the Void gone just as badly as everywhere else and he too attempted to destroy the multiverse.

Kang the Conqueror/He Who Remains[]

Kang the Conqueror tried to reign over the Multiverse. He is an evil Variant of Nathaniel Richards, as is He Who Remains, who structured the entire Creation into his rigid and morally dubious image through the TVA. He's also absolutely sick and twisted, as he wanted to trap Ant-Man in a time loop to watch his underage daughter die over and over again, which is about as messed up in the head as a man gets.

His kill count is practically infinite, but it gets undone when Loki Laufeyson and his Variant, Sylvie, come along, unlike Infinity Ultron, whose mass murders never go subverted at all.

Thanos and 2014 Thanos[]

The Mad Titan, Thanos was the main antagonist of the Infinity Saga. After the destruction of his home planet Titan, Thanos became convinced that the best way to tackle overpopulation was to kill half the population of the planets he would visit. That was until he began to search out the Infinity Stones so he could wipe out half of the universe's population succeeding at the end of Infinity War achieving at the time the largest body count of the franchise. He was also responsible for numerous instances of torture especially in regard to his adoptive daughter Nebula and sacrifices Gamora to get the Soul Stone. After destroying the Infinity Stones to prevent anyone else from using them, his 2014 iteration becomes furious deciding to wipe out all life with the stones since he deemed the heroes' attempts to stop him as being ungrateful. Thanos also has a lot of personal villainy to Iron Man and Gamora. He's also hypocritical for throwing Ronan under the bus since he can't see how his obsessions are clouding his own judgment.

However, while both versions of Thanos come close to meeting the criteria, they have several mitigating factors, such as his genuine affection for Gamora and genuinely believing his cause was just. They also both fail in terms of threat level to Infinity Ultron, who possessed the same resources as them but went even further and also had access to the multiverse.

Ego the Living Planet[]

Ego was a celestial who, after finding the life he came across as disappointing, concocted the Expansion, a method of assimilating all planets in the universe into himself so everything would become him. He plants celestial seeds throughout planets and breeds with the alien women later kidnapping and killing his own children when they were incompatible. He professes to have loved Peter's mother Meredith Quill and initially felt remorse for placing a tumor in her head only to subvert both of his redeeming qualities by choosing to go forward with his plan. He then cruelly crushes his son's Walkman, the last remnant he had of his mother, before trying to use him as a battery to kickstart the Expansion. Calling him utterly sick in the head is quite the understatement. It's also quite the understatement to say he has enormously personal villainy to his son.

However, while very heinous, is outdone by Infinity Ultron and is limited to his own universe.

The Supreme Intelligence[]

The former ruler of the Kree Empire, the Supreme Intelligence launches a genocidal campaign against the Skrulls, extending that to firebombing worlds that housed refugees, with it being clear that the Skrulls are not the latest in this long line of conquest. It also has a lot of personal villainy to Captain Marvel.

However, while very heinous and powerful, is outdone by Infinity Ultron and is limited to its own universe either way.

Ronan the Accuser[]

He blew up Skrullos, massacred people on Kylos, killed everyone in the Kyln (although they may or may not've deserved that), tried to nuke Earth in 1995 and tried to atomize Xandar in 2014, not to mention blowing up tons of ships with a purple laser, and he and Nebula were planning to destroy a thousand planets with the new power he wielded with an Infinity Stone. He also has more than a little personal villainy to Drax.

However, he's still not nearly as bad as Infinity Ultron and is limited to his own universe. He also has one redeeming quality since he loves his familial forebearers.

Dormammu[]

Also known as Satan as per the lore in Runaways, he is a man of many names and the ruler of Hell (also known as the Dark Dimension), who attempts to assimilate everything in existence into his domain, where they would suffer for eternity. He also has a bit of personal villainy to Doctor Strange.

However, compared to Infinity Ultron, Dormammu isn't as powerful or impactful a threat.
