The Quintession High Commander is the overarching antagonist of the 2024 animated film Transformers One. He is the high ranking Quintession commander of the Quintession race and the master of taking Sentinel Prime's energon back to his homeworld, Quintessa.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- Even though Sentinel Prime is the main villainous antagonist of the film, technically the Quintession Commander is the most influential antagonist of the film for attacking Cybertron and lead to killing off the 13 Primes as Sentinel kills them off just in order becoming a "Prime", however after that, he made a struck deal with Sentinel to have energon be delivered to him and the rest of the Quintessions, with him overseeing the transaction. This even all lead to be the conflict of the entire film, the main reason Sentinel manipulated and forced Transformers to mine for energon, so that he can deliver it all to him and his species while Sentinel can live like a king.
- This also made he and his army the new rulers of Cybertron as Alpha Trion mentions, with even Sentinel bowing to him when he arrives.
- It's true he has insufficient characterization unlike Sentinel, especially being appeared in one scene physically and for most of the film being mentioned. However, he is shown to be fearless, cold, intimidation, and menacing tyrant who is willing to do for his and the Quintessions own willing, he even threatened and tortured Sentinel Prime for being outraged for not enough energon in that one scene with him and Sentinel.
- He also overall shown to have no to little redeeming qualities like Sentinel Prime (who is pawn to him) and Archinid (minion to Sentinel), not even once in his one scene especially.
- Sentinel may be the main threat of the film, the Quintession High Commander is proving to be the greatest threat of the entire film, he even uses Sentinel as a pawn, despite barley a obstacle for the heroes, even for Optimus Prime physically.
