Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is the most powerful villain in the whole Final Fantasy VII compilation being know as the world's greatest soldier even before entering the Lifestream which caused him to gain influence over all JENOVA cells and was able to call upon a meteor with the Black Materia to destroy the enter planet. In his Safer Seiphroth form, he was able to use supernova to destroy an entire solar system and was practically a god. Even beyond the grave he could infect the entire planet with Geostigama and even use off shoots of himself even after death and cannot truly die as he is always part of the Lifestream.
- He is very cunning and manipulative as he manipulates every being with Jenova cells including, the Sephiroth clones, Cloud Strife and Jenova herself, he also manipulates Rufus Shinra into restarting the war with Wutai while disguised as Glenn Lodbrock a former SOLDIER and the new Wutai leader as a distraction.
- He is easily the most heinous villain being responsible for burning Cloud and Tifa's home village, murdering Aerith, and trying to destroy the planet so he can absorb the entire Lifestream via the Meteor and later through Geostigma. He later planned on sailing throughout the cosmos to find new worlds to take over and create the Promised Land.
- Despite being Near Pure Evil and the Final Fantasy VII titles having Pure Evils, he is still the evillest character in the franchise as he had gone further than any other villain in the franchise, even villains like Professor Hojo and Jenova as he arguably exceeded their expectations. In fact, his only real preventions are his genuine tragedy and love for Jenova but compared to his crimes, both preventions are quite weak and could easily be subverted in the third installment of the Remake Trilogy.
- Even though there are villains like Jenova and Professor Hojo that have more influence on the plot than him, he is still one of the most influential being the one who causes the current events of FFVII via his clones and causing Meteor. Even after his death the people still suffer from the aftermath of his crimes and Geostigma further shows that.
- He can’t truly be killed, as even when his body is destroyed, he will continue to exist within the Lifestream.
- In the Remake Trilogy, he has become a multiversal threat as he now seeks to merge all timelines into his own as well as controlling the Whispers to undo his destined defeat.
