Sir Miles Axlerod is the main antagonist of Cars 2. He is the leader of a terrorist organization named "the Lemons" that seeks worldwide power by making all alternative fuels look dangerous in order to force all other cars to rely on his and the Lemons' oil for fuel. His plan was eventually foiled by Mater and he was taken into custody with the rest of the organization to either be imprisoned for life or executed.

He was voiced by Eddie Izzard.

Actions and Characteristics

• Despite his very minimal screen time, Axlerod is the one responsible for almost everything that takes place in Cars 2, such as the World Grand Prix crashes, attempting to kill Lightning McQueen and Mater, along with almost all of the main cast from the first Cars, and enabling Zündapp and all the other Lemons to commit all their depraved deeds by giving them whatever resources they need, making him the most heinous villain in the whole series and Cars 2's most influential villain.
• He has the most power in the entire series, having access to technologically advanced weapons such as the EMP camera, which can kill or torture any car if they have Allinol in their system, having a small army of Lemons in his terrorist organization that can travel the world with ease and having a lot of influence through his false persona as an oil baron.
• He is highly manipulative, using a disguised voice whenever he interacts with his Lemons to hide his identity in case he needs to ditch them for himself and even managing to deceive Finn McMissile, Holly Shiftwell and almost all of the cast into believing he was innocent through his seemingly kind-hearted and charitable persona, to the point where Mater of all people was the only one who could figure him out.
