Steve Cobs is the main antagonist of the animated web series Inanimate Insanity. He is the overarching antagonist of Seasons 1 and 3 and the main antagonist of Season 2. He's the head of the Meeple Corporation, and the creator and father figure of the MePhones, including MePhone4.
He was voiced by AnimatedJames in "Theft & Battery", Peter Mancuso in "Mine Your Own Business", and Joshua Waters in "Inanimate Insanity II: The Movie".
Actions and Characteristics[]
- Cobs is the most heinous character in the series, being the only one to commit almost permanent murder on the contestants MePhone4 created twice and almost succeeding in his second attempt. He also attempted genocide on the Light Shimmers and possibly succeeded at doing so all out of wanting to use their young to power his products.
- He is the most powerful villain in the series because he was able to create the MePhones, with one of them (MePhone4) being able to create objects and even life out of thin air.
- He is incredibly intelligent as he was able to abuse and manipulate the MePhones into doing things for him and is a virtuoso in creating all kinds of technology, being the owner of Meeple, which consists of his MePhones and sometimes computers. He even made MePhoneX, who deleted almost all of the contestants and the Me, which can generate entities like buildings and people.
- He is the most influential character in the series, as he created ADAM, who served as MePhone4's direct boss, created MePhone4, and neglected him for his work, leading to him creating Inanimate Insanity to rebel against him. This makes him responsible for all of the negative events that happened in the series, like the contestants not acting like who they want to be.
