The Archivists are the overarching antagonists of the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House, serving as the unseen overarching antagonists in Seasons 1-2 and the overarching antagonists of Season 3.

They are a specific set of Collectors and the older siblings of the Collector who were following their kind's rule of "preserving" life to make sure it won't die out. They send out their brother to meet the Titans, before becoming scared of their power and deciding to wipe them out, thus indirectly leading to the Collector's imprisonment within the In-Between Realm, kickstarting the events of the entire series.

Actions and Characteristics

• They are some of the most, if not the most dangerous villains in the show, wiping out all Titans by themselves despite them apparently being the strongest creatures alive when fully grown. By all means, they can do everything the Collector has done, making them nigh-omnipotent and undefeatable.
• They are shown to be intelligent and manipulative, tricking the Collector into befriending the Titans just so they could kill them later.
• They wiped out an entire species, including the infants, making them the only villains who actually succeeded in their genocide, and thus having the highest kill count in the series.
• They kickstarted the events of the series by wiping out all Titans, leading to the creation of the Boiling Isles and the Collector's imprisonment within the In-Between Realm.
• Unlike even Emperor Belos, who had redeeming qualities that he shed over time, the Archivists are fully irredeemable, never being shown in a sympathetic light.
• While Belos rivals them in pretty much everything, they are on equal grounds and neither outdoes the other. The Archivists are background figures who kickstarted everything while Belos is the current big bad, thus letting them all be TUE at once.
