Close Contenders for the Ultimate Evil[]
Demise[]

Demise is the primeval King of Evil and the source of all the monsters plaguing Hyrule and the reason humanity was forced out of the Surface. He is the source of all Monsters, being incredibly strong on his own, creating his own entirely separate dimension, having mastery over time itself, rivaling the goddess Hylia in power, and being able to even curse future generations via his magic as well as making him responsible for their crimes. He attempted to wipe out humanity so he could rule over the surface and curse future generations making him responsible for every crime his reincarnation Ganondorf would commit. He is the reason the Goddess Hylia died and reincarnated and most importantly by cursing Link and Zelda with an incarnation of his hate he is responsible for every preceding conflict in the series due to being responsible for the endless cycle.
While he may have all the qualities of being TUE, he is outclassed by Null in all categories.
Ganondorf/Ganon[]

The main antagonist of the franchise, Ganondorf is often regarded as the arch-nemesis of Link and Princess Zelda, appearing in many incarnations to torment his foes and commits many atrocities such as trying to take over Hyrule.
However, he is only an extension of Demise, so he can’t count due to being a part of his influence over the series.
Majora[]

The main antagonist of Majora's Mask, Majora is a demon that resides in magic within a sentient mask who possessed Skull Kid into causing havoc towards Termina and even use the moon to destroy the land of Termina after three days. It was used for hexing rituals by an ancient tribe. Its powers overtook all who wore it and nearly caused cataclysmic damage, to which the tribe had the mask sealed away.
However, he fails in influence and power to Demise and Null. Furthermore, it has minor moral agency issues.
Yuga[]

The main antagonist of A Link Between Worlds, Yuga is a power-hungry Lorulean wizard who has an obsession with beauty and perfection. He kidnapped all the sages to revive Ganon and betrayed Hilda so he can recreate the universe in his own image. Once he summoned Ganon, he fused with him against his will. He also traps people in paintings, which can be considered a fate worse than death.
However, while he has the power, he fails like all the other candidates stated above.
