Below is a set of rules to follow when editing this wiki.

  1. Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a person. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs which degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc.
  2. Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator! Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
  3. Do not engage in excessive self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is NOT a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc. Have a question about whether your link would be welcome? Ask an administrator!
  4. Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their wall, respect their wishes. It is their wall.
  5. Do follow community guidelines for formatting: When a community has established formatting, it’s important to adhere to that, especially when spoiler content is involved.
  6. Criteria: Please read the criteria to familiarize yourself with what The Ultimate Evil villain is.
  7. Do not plagiarize: Write everything in your own words. This includes writing the introduction paragraphs and content within the infobox. Copying information from other wikis and online sources may result in a warning or block.
  8. No vandalism: Removing content large information from pages, blanking a page, inserting gibberish information, or adding inappropriate content on the wiki will be considered vandalism and will result in a ban.
  9. No trolling: Trolls are not tolerated here and will be blocked.
  10. Sufficient content: Making a page with little to no content and not expanding on it is an issue. Please make sure to make a page with sufficient content. Users who consistently make pages with little content or blank pages can either face a warning or block.
  11. Sockpuppetry and ban evasion: Using alternate accounts to cause issues on the wiki or ban evade from a previous block will result in a block.
  12. Character roles: Please keep character roles simple and to the point. Such as using: main, overarching, or major, etc. Any arbitrary changes to character roles and edit wars will be treated as character roles abuse and can result in a warning or block.
  13. Edit-warring: Please use the talk pages or message walls to talk out a disagreement. Consistent conflicting edits over information on a page could result in a ban or the offending user(s) or the page to be locked.
  14. Edit-spamming: Please do not make multiple "fluff" edits to a page like adding a category per edit or making minute changes to a page per edit that can be done in one or few edits. This can result in a warning or block.
  15. Links: Do not add links to external sites or malicious websites. Spamming links to these sites will result in a ban.
  16. Stats: Be mindful of the stats and review the stats before adding stats. Also, provide a reason for changing stats in the edit summary. Changes without reasons and edit wars over stats will not be tolerated and such edits could be treated as abuse of stats.
  17. No polls to determine TUE status: No polls on "Who is considered TUE?" or "Is x TUE?" or any iteration of these questions. Polls like these will be deleted. Users who recreate deleted polls will also be blocked.
  18. No proposals: Proposals are not allowed to be made here. This wiki does not require proposals for pages. TUEs are generally easy to note in stories since they are the most powerful, most evil, and most dangerous character that stands out in the story. If there are any questions on who could qualify for TUE, informal discussions with are allowed to be made as long as it provides general information on the character. Discussions are either held on discussion posts or on the official wiki discord. Any proposals made will be deleted and the user may either receive a warning or a block. Continuously making proposals or making proposals after its deletion, will result in a block.
  19. Discord: Rules on this wiki apply on the official wiki discord and vice versa. Any rule violation on the discord can also result in a ban on wiki itself and any violation on the wiki can also result in a ban on the discord.
  20. Do it yourself: Do not ask users to make pages for you. If you want it done, do it yourself. Making requests for users to make pages on the wiki is frowned upon and considered harassment. Users who ask others make pages for them will be warned. Repeated instances of asking users to make pages and ignoring warnings will result in a block.
