Threat Levels are the level of danger each character present in a story. As with The Ultimate Evil types, these villains are on the maximum level of threat within their story or franchise. There are varying degrees of threats for each The Ultimate Evil villain within each franchise.
Level of Danger
The list goes from the lowest to the highest threat level.
- Local: On this level, the villain represent the greatest threat at a local level. Local means a threat to a town, city, neighborhood, or community. It is very rare for a TUE villain to fall under this as this is lowest level of threat a villain can pose. The only exception to this would be if the story is long-running and it is confined to a local area.
- Regional: On this level, the villain is a threat at a regional level. This would be at the level of states, provinces, and nations. At this level, TUE villain has access to many resources and can harm a lot of people in the process. TUE villains can fall under this level if the story is confined to this degree of threat.
- Global: TUE villain is a threat to the entire world. At this level, it is common for TUE to be at this level unless there is no other villain that can reach their level of influence and power.
- Galactic: TUE villain is a threat to an entire galaxy. This villain pose a threat to countless lives.
- Universal: TUE villain pose a threat to the entire universe. This means they have the power, influence, and wherewithal to potentially conquer or destroy the universe.
- Multiversal: TUE villain is a threat to the multiverse (a collection of multiple universes). These villains are either immensely powerful or have the means to go through causing this level of damage.
Notes
- It is most common for TUE to be anywhere from a Global threat to Multiversal threat. Rarely would any villain fall under local or regional unless the story's setting is confined to this level.
- It is pretty common for villains from fantasy, science-fiction, science-fantasy genres to reach the levels of global and higher. Although, there are exceptions depending on the story-telling.
