The Transformers original films, also known as the Bayverse, is a series of five films directed by Michael Bay from 2007 to 2017. Each film introduces a new villain that is incredibly heinous and influential in their own way, but out of the villains, none of them are as heinous, powerful and influential as the Fallen.
Plot[]
The plot initially involves around several Autobots, including Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, crashlanding into Earth, and teaming up with the humans, with notable figures like Sam Witwicky and later on Cade Yaeger, to protect Earth and fight the Decepticons, and later antagonists like Sentinel Prime, Cemetery Wind with their mercenary ally Lockdown, and Quintessa.
Close Contenders for the Ultimate Evil[]
Megatron[]
The main antagonist of the film series and the notable leader of the Decepticons. Back in Cybertron, he had instigated a war against the Autobots after joining the Fallen, resulting in the planet nearly getting destroyed. By the first film, he thaws and awakens from his crashlanding and plots to use the Allspark to create a larger Decepticon army that would devastate Earth out of xenophobia towards the humans. In later films, he gets worse by assisting many villains such as the Fallen himself, Sentinel Prime, and Quintessa in their catacylismic plans, alongside at one point choosing to find the Seed independently with his own fleet of KSI Drones for his own personal goals.
Despite being the most prominent threat in the series and being one of the most heinous, he cannot be the Ultimate Evil as he was an extension to the Fallen's influence, due to being corrupted by the latter, alongside serving him and later antagonists, only being independent in his cataclysmic crimes once when he gets rebuilt as Galvatron. Additionally, he is less evil than the Fallen as while he is too a power-hungry xenophobe, he at least has a degree of extremism as he seeks to have Cybertron be rebuilt with more security for the Cybertronians.
Sentinel Prime[]
The main antagonist of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Initially being perceived as an ally to the Autobots, Sentinel later betrays them and makes a deal with Megatron to devastate Earth so that Cybertron can be rebuilt, causing a brutal war to take place in Chicago that devastated many lives, just so that humans can be enslaved and made aware that the Cybertronians are the superior race. Even after getting killed by Optimus, his actions still leave drastic impacts in the series, as the relations between the Autobots and humans get completely severed, causing the Autobots to get hunted down to extinction by Cemetery Wind and Lockdown. This impact would continue with the Transformer Reaction Force being formed to hunt down any Cybertronian after they were globally deemed illegal.
Despite his actions being one of the more impactful ones in the series, alongside his cataclysmic goals being incredibly heinous enough for the series' standards, he still lacks the scale and influence the Fallen has, given that he not only tries to destroy Earth, but also tries to have his Decepticon army enlarge and conquer the entire universe, a scale that Sentinel is unable to reach, alongside being the founder of the Decepticons.
Quintessa[]
The main antagonist of Transformers: The Last Knight. Being the self-proclaimed "Creator" of Optimus and "The Prime of Life", she in reality intended to corrupt Optimus Prime into getting a staff that would restore life on Cybertron. This would lead the planet to Earth and scrape off its parts, causing millions to get killed in the process and nearly causing Earth's destruction had it not been for Optimus' crew. However, she does manage to get away from karma unlike even the Fallen himself, given she faked death and disguised herself as a human to keep a low profile.
However, she fails the Heinous Standards to even other Close Contenders like Megatron and Sentinel, who have other brutal crimes in their rap sheets, and her cataclysmic crime suffering from Fridge Horror due to unknown casualties. Even without that, she is less evil than the Fallen due to being an extremist and isn't on the same scope and influence as him, given she only has major influence in one film.
Unicron[]
The overarching antagonist of Transformers: The Last Knight. Being one of the reasons for Quintessa's villainy under the guise that Earth is his true form, he is a cosmic deity who seeks to devour any planet he stumbles across, rendering him the largest enemy for Cybertron and being the reason Cybertronians enter Earth.
He would've easily dethroned the Fallen as the Ultimate Evil due to his massive power and potential heinousness and influence that likely may have matched the latter in planned sequels. However, the poor reception of Transformers: The Last Knight has caused potential sequels to be scrapped, and therefore Unicron is left inconclusive and doesn't do much compared to the Fallen, who is more actively heinous. Additionally, while not an exact prevention, he is way less characterized than the Fallen.
