“ | Eighteen minutes ago, a message was sent to Fort Sheridan instructing employees to load a missile labeled disarmed and inactive into the launch bay as a drill. All confirmation codes were provided, all calls to higher authorities intercepted to confirm the order again and again. The database identifying the missile as defunct was falsified three hours prior. Two minutes and forty-one seconds ago, the missile launcher received a remote signal to fire with no manual input. It's in the air right now, on its way here. | ” |
~ Victim revealing that he sent a ballistic missile to Alan's location. |
Victim (formerly known as victim) is the main antagonist of the Animator vs. Animation fanfiction They're Sticks, Probably, created by HakureiRyuu.
He is Alan Becker's first creation and by far his most vengeful. Seeking to bring an end to his creator as a way of comeuppance for his own abuse, he creates Rocket Corp, hiring mercenaries in order to capture the Chosen One, break from his original purpose, and find Alan's location to finally achieve his mission.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is easily one of the most heinous characters in the fanfic, being the one to hire the mercenaries, including that of the Ballista, making him partially responsible for their crimes, as well as brutally torturing the Chosen One and of course, by far his most heinous act, attempting to bomb Alan's neighborhood just to get revenge on his creator, even expressing joy upon discovering that he would end up killing his children as well.
- Being the main antagonist of the fanfic, he is the most influential villain in the story, fueling the main conflict of the Chosen One evading the mercenaries, as well as inadvertedly making Alan realize how much he has screwed up in the past thanks to Chosen's callout speech where he specifically references Victim.
- While he does have a legitimate freudian excuse and a code of honor, he is still one of the most evil villains in the story thanks to his lack of redemption, his incredibly depraved acts which even the story points out go far beyond anything that his tragedy can justify and the effects he ends up having on characters like the Chosen One, who were also traumatized by Alan's actions.
- He's the most powerful villain in the story, having ownership of an entire company that has access to technology capable of significantly weakening powerful characters like the Chosen One, as well as his ability to hack into the government's military program in order to launch a nuke targeting Alan's area, making him the only character in the story capable of directly effecting real-world events.
