Yujiro Hanma, also known as The Ogre, is the main antagonist of Baki the Grappler series, as well as the father of the eponymous protagonist. Yujiro is the most dangerous and strongest character in the story, capable of many inhuman physical acts. Before the birth of Baki Hanma or his older half-brother Jack Hanma born of Emi Akezawa and Diane Neil respectively, his might had already gained the reputation of being that of a superhuman as he single handily defeated the U.S. military during the Vietnam War at the young age of 16.
He had neglected Baki from a young age and considers both Baki's body and attachment to such ideas as mercy and friendship to be "weak".
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is the most heinous character in the manga or anime series as he displayed some very cruel crimes like raping people just to dominate them, and overall has the highest kill count in the series.
- He is responsible for the majority of the series events by doing the most atrocious actions, and no one was able to stop him, not even countries.
- He inflicted pain and abuse on both of his sons, Baki and Jack. For Baki, he killed his mother in front of him, and for Jack, he raped his mother, causing him to be born.
- He is the strongest character in the series and the most dangerous, as he was able to defeat the US army on his own at the age of sixteen years old.
