Zhan Tiri is the main antagonist of Disney's Tangled franchise. She is an ancient demon and former sorceress who betrayed her partner, Lord Demanitus, so that she could control the power of the Sundrop and Moonstone, and wishes to destroy Corona as revenge for him imprisoning her.

Actions and Characteristics

• She is by far the most heinous and evil character in the series, since she made numerous attempts to destroy Corona and its population in uniquely vile ways, such as freezing them to death in the form of a blizzard and later trying to painfully drain their lives. She also successfully destroyed entire armies and caused several characters to become villains.
• She caused most of the conflict and events in the series.
  • She manipulated Sugracha, Tromus, and possibly Mother Gothel into turning against Demanitus, making her responsible for all of their crimes. Since one of them was indicated to be Gothel, that makes Zhan Tiri indirectly responsible for everything she did during the movie.
  • Her blizzard curse led to Varian's fall to darkness and made him the primary antagonist of season 1's second half.
  • She manipulated Cassandra into turning against Rapunzel, causing her to become a major threat to her and eventually all of Corona.
• While she's too vile and sadistic to be a Magnificent Baddie, she's intelligent and manipulative enough to be one. She was able to turn several people against each other and orchestrate the events that led to her escape and near victory.
• She is the most powerful villain in the series, and had a vast amount of destructive magic in the past. Although she was weakened after escaping, once she regained her true form and harnessed the Sundrop and Moonstone's power, she became an extremely powerful and dangerous threat.
